On top of two jam-packed days exploring the interconnected ‘ecosystem’ crucial to decarbonising the transport sector, TruckShowX also provided plenty of opportunities to network and socialise with friends and colleagues.

Kicking off the activities were welcome drinks and networking on Sunday, May 12 from 6-9pm, kindly sponsored by NewVolt. Then on Monday night a jam-packed room of attendees donned their favourite footy gear at the Geotab ‘Footy’ Function.

On top of the awesome night had by all, the Monday night function raised an impressive $6,000 for TruckShowX’s charity partner Health Heads In Trucks & Sheds.

The raffle included an amazing array of prizes including a signed 2023 St Kilda team Sherrin AFL football, a St Kilda Indigenous Round 2022 jersey, two Canberra Raiders signed Steeden balls and framed Canberra Raiders jersey signed by Ricky Stewart (both donated by Toyota Material Handling Australia), and a piece of framed Cristiano Ronaldo FIFA World Player of the Year 2008 memorabilia.
