Dr Joshua Allwright is an adaptable and proactive engineer committed to using his career to de-risk the transition and accelerate the path to net zero in the road freight sector. He founded Electric Haulage Australia (EHAULA) to develop and deliver technology tailored to Australia’s needs, supporting the decarbonisation of the heavy road freight industry. With over eight years of experience in the heavy vehicle sector, EHAULA is well positioned to enter the market and drive meaningful change.

Cindy is a purpose-driven executive with a passion for growing financial services businesses through strategic vision and disciplined execution. She builds high-performing, customer-centric teams that thrive on collaboration and accountability. As Head of ESG for ANZ Australia Commercial, she is responsible for driving strategic change across one of the country’s largest business banking portfolios. David is a 17-year banking and financial services leader. David directs marketing strategy and content development for financial services collaboratively with Volvo Group brands. Karishma Bhatt is the Senior Director of Carrier Performance and Sourcing at Ofload, where she oversees the commercial and operational partnerships that connect carriers to scalable freight solutions. With over 17 years of experience in logistics, she has built deep expertise across the supply chain, spending the majority of her career at efm Logistics in senior roles spanning account management, regional operations, and new business implementation. She began her career at TNT Express, where she developed a strong foundation in freight.

Karishma is recognised for her ability to simplify complex supply chain challenges into practical, results-driven outcomes, and for building trusted, long-term relationships with carriers through a genuine understanding of their businesses.

Heather has more than 20 years of experience in renewable energy, environment and sustainable development, strategic and business development, safety, marketing and communications in mines, energy, waste, transport, logistics and manufacturing in Australia and internationally. She is also the Chair of the Sustainability Committee at the Australian Logistics Council and a member of many other key fuels, energy, and climate change committees. Her passion for ESG is matched only by her interest in V8 cars, Harley Davidson motorbikes, and all things high-octane.

Alex Bowler is Director of Major Projects at JET Charge, where he leads major heavy vehicle fleet electrification projects across Australia. His work focuses on project feasibility, de-risking complex charging infrastructure deployments, and maintaining reliable charging operations for commercial fleets. Alex has 10 years’ experience in the transport sector. Prior to JET Charge, he worked at Keolis delivering asset refurbishments, new service mobilisation, network reviews, and fleet electrification projects.

Adam Carroll is Marketing Manager for the drivetrain and braking portfolio of products for Cummins in Australia.  Over the past eight years in this role he has worked in partnership with many of the major truck manufacturers to grow Cummins’ share of axle and braking solutions within the Australian trucking industry.

Following an extensive career in stock haulage operations as the Director of Boyle’s Livestock Transport, Anthony has taken on the role of the Interim Executive Director of the Australian Livestock and Rural Transporters Association (ALRTA). The ALRTA is the peak body representing rural road transport businesses that services agriculture. It works closely with governments, industry, communities, and media to promote safety, responsibility, and productivity in rural road transport.

Athol Carter is a livestock transport industry allrounder and leader, holding management positions at Frasers Livestock Transport, and Executive and Director roles a peak transport industry associations including ALRTA, and the Queensland Trucking Association. He is passionate about improving and developing excellence through the safe and efficient transport and handling of livestock across the red meat supply chain.

Sean holds Bachelor of Business and International Business degrees with the University of New England, and has worked in Australia’s automotive and Local Government sectors for over 25 years, in Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, and Fleet Supervisor Roles. In his current role as Fleet Supervisor at Port Stephens Council, he has managed the introduction and integration of battery electric trucks into the council’s heavy vehicle fleet and operations.

With over 20 years of experience in various technical and commercial positions at Shell Australia and now Viva Energy Australia, Rob’s role as the Carbon Solutions Manager is to assist commercial customers find products and solutions to address their carbon footprint and help with their decarbonisation targets. He has been involved with a number of Renewable Fuels initiatives across a number of industry sectors including Transport, Defence, Marine, Mining, infrastructure and construction industries.

Shayne is a seasoned heavy vehicle industry executive serving as Director of Product Strategy & Driver Development at Volvo Group Australia, where he leads product management, product communication, sales structure, vehicle efficiency, and vehicle handover & driver development. With close to 15 years’ experience within Volvo’ Group global organisation, he has steered major commercial launches, including new model ranges and electric truck initiatives. Known for his deep market insight and leadership in truck product innovation, Shayne champions efficiency, technology adoption and sustainable transport solutions in the heavy-vehicle sector.

Tom is a renewable energy and decarbonisation leader, with experience across solar, storage, DER, community energy, industrial decarbonisation and transport in government and private sector roles. Tom currently leads investments in ARENA’s transport impact area, covering electric trucks and charging, V2G, and low carbon liquid fuels.

Alkan is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience driving business development, predominantly within the telematics and transport sectors. He is deeply passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technology, connected vehicle data, and AI to solve real-world challenges—empowering enterprise fleets to optimize performance, enhance driver safety, and deliver significant, measurable ROI.

Austin is the Head of Sales at EVSE for Australia and New Zealand, joining EVSE right at the beginning and helping shape its growth along the way. With deep hands-on experience in DC truck charging, he has led multi-site DC fast charging deployments for a range of operators across Australia – most recently for Toll Group in deploying DC charging for 25 of their Heavy Electric trucks across 9 sites. Passionate about solving real-world charging challenges in the heavy vehicle sector, Austin is here today to share what EVSE has learned along the way.

Scott Donnelly is responsible for helping customers decarbonise heavy vehicle fleets in a way that makes operational and commercial sense. With a strong background in heavy vehicle maintenance and fleet operations, Scott understands how sustainability decisions directly affect reliability, service requirements, total cost of ownership, and driver acceptance. He works closely with customers to integrate low and zero emission technologies—across powertrain, auxiliary systems, and energy supply—into TR Group’s leasing and rental fleet models. Scott’s approach is practical, transparent, and grounded in real fleet experience, helping customers confidently adopt emerging solutions while protecting uptime, compliance, and long‑term fleet performance.

Iain is the heavy vehicle sales manager for Foton Mobility Australia, providing zero emission solutions for truck and bus to help all businesses reduce their own carbon footprint. He has 23 years of commercial vehicle experience with global heavy vehicle brands across the UK, Ireland and Australia. He began in the industry as an apprentice before gaining technical training certifications, before rising to commercial vehicle sales executive roles in New South Wales. A continual focus throughout his career has been a passion for moving people and zero emission solutions.

Andy Divall is the owner and Managing Director of Divall’s Earthmoving and Bulk Haulage, a company he established in 1991 with his brother Michael. Andy has diversified the Goulburn-based company’s operations to meet the needs of the local community and strives to retain local staff by offering wide-ranging and professional opportunities. Divall’s Earthmoving & Bulk Haulage now employs over 300 people, and is a major contributor to the local economy.

Cameron has been with FBT Transwest since 2009, and leads the business as its Managing Director. He has extensive industry experience in bulk dry and liquid products, coupled with national logistics management. He is also the Deputy Chairman of the National Bulk Tanker Association (NBTA), and is on the boards of the  Chemistry Australia, the Australian Road Transport Industry Vic (ARTIO) and Victorian Transport Association (VTA).

Richard has over 30 years’ experience in the global auto business across sales, marketing, supply planning and product planning disciplines. He has worked across the Australian and New Zealand markets as well South East Asia. He was the Vice-President of Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries from 2014 to 2018 and currently sits on the Truck Industry Council. Prior to Hino, he was Sales Director at Mercedes-Benz Australia and more recently as President & CEO of Nissan Motors Australia. During his time at Nissan, he was a prominent voice in seeking Government progress and policy in the area of Low and Zero Emission drivetrain options.

Dr Cathy Foley AO PSM was Australia’s Chief Scientist from January 2021 until December 2024. Before being appointed, Dr Foley had a long career at Australia’s national science agency, the CSIRO, where she was appointed as the agency’s Chief Scientist in August 2018. Dr Foley currently serves as a CSIRO Board Member. Her previous roles include membership of the Prime Minister’s Science, Engineering and Innovation Council, President of the Australian Institute of Physics, and President of Science and Technology Australia.

James Foott is a senior engineering leader with over 20 years of automotive experience, including more than 18 years at GM Holden and 5 years with Cummins. His expertise spans powertrain performance, emissions compliance and complex vehicle integration. As On‑Highway Chief Engineer for Cummins Asia Pacific, he shapes technical strategy across truck and bus platforms, delivering reliable, compliant solutions developed through close customer partnership. Holding a Master of Engineering in Global Automotive and Manufacturing Engineering James takes a systems‑level view of product development and project execution.  He is committed to elevating engineering quality, strengthening cross‑functional collaboration, and advancing heavy‑vehicle technology.

Gary Foster is Manager of Hydrogen Programs at the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.

He leads grant co‑funding for NSW’s hydrogen production, port infrastructure and refuelling initiatives, including foundational hydrogen hubs in the Illawarra, Hunter and Moree, and development of a refuelling network from Newcastle to the Queensland border.

Trained as a mechanical and aeronautical engineer, Gary brings 30 years’ experience across public and private sectors in Australia and internationally, with a career spanning major aerospace programs, large‑scale renewable energy projects, low‑carbon technology funding, global engineering consultancy and industrial water treatment.

Mark is a pioneer in making Australian trucks and freight more sustainable. His career includes time in the car and truck industry, government sustainability programs, and more than 15 years as an expert advisor reducing transport emissions. He founded MOV3MENT to make this real, providing advice to truck OEMs, fleets, fuel and energy companies, and all levels of government. He’s motivated by a passion for anything with wheels and speeding up clean energy in transport.

Alex Grant is General Manager, Transport at the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), where he leads investment in zero‑emissions heavy vehicles, including electric trucks and high‑capacity charging infrastructure. His team works closely with truck manufacturers, fleet operators and energy providers to help demonstrate, de‑risk and scale heavy vehicle electrification in Australia. Before joining ARENA, Alex worked in corporate finance and infrastructure investment roles supporting large‑scale energy and transport‑related projects.

Scott Greenow is the Executive Director Freight at Transport for NSW. Scott’s career in Transport spans over 30 years including early beginnings as a bus driver, organisational development partner, and later specialising in road freight operations.  Scott has been instrumental in building strong partnerships with freight customers and in enabling technology and innovation to improve heavy vehicle access in NSW.

Todd holds a double degree in Arts (Politics) and Law from the University of Adelaide and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has forged a successful career advocating public policy solutions for a range of industries, including infrastructure, transport, land use planning, environment, safety, construction, and logistics. As CEO of Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia, the peak body for truck, trailer, component, equipment and technology manufacturers and suppliers, as well as being the custodian of the largest B2B event in Queensland, the Brisbane Truck Show, Todd is delving into the policy areas affecting the heavy vehicle industry. On weekends, he moonlights as a marriage celebrant, is an avid AFL fan, a horse racing enthusiast and is at his most comfortable cooking in the kitchen.

Passionate about Connected Technologies and Intelligent Transport Systems, Dylan has more than a decade of experience in the automotive industry, working with large corporates, manufacturers and OEM partners bringing leading technologies to market. Dylan started his career in the South African Motor industry as a dealer trainee manager with Volkswagen. Moving soon after into the software development space and the growing connected vehicle industry, with vehicle tracking and fleet management. In 2010 Dylan, supported by his team, launched Australia’s first OEM Standard Fit Telematics Program with UD Trucks, pioneering telematics in the Heavy Commercial Vehicle Segment setting the foundation that has shaped today’s truck industry. With an entrepreneurial spirit and an ambitious desire to inspire, innovate and scale, Dylan is part of the senior leadership team at WHG.

NewVolt’s mission is to fast-track Australia’s transition to electric trucks. NewVolt is developing a national network of charging hubs for electric trucks, powered by renewable energy, along Australia’s major road freight corridors and industrial precincts. Prior to founding NewVolt, Anthony was a project finance and infrastructure lawyer with specialist expertise in renewable energy and public infrastructure. Anthony founded his own firm Projects Law which focussed on supporting clients in the energy transition.

Julia is the Head of Infrastructure at the Clean Energy Finance Corporation, focusing in particular on improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions in the transport sector and built environment. As part of this role, Julia is working to support Australia’s supply chain for renewable energy and low emissions technologies. Before joining the CEFC, Julia worked at National Australia Bank, where she led the export credit financing team, and the Toronto Dominion Bank. Julia has significant experience in debt structuring, arranging and execution, both domestically and offshore, including Hong Kong. She has more than 15 years’ experience in project finance across a range of industries including resources, infrastructure, energy and utilities.

Alexandra is the Zero Emission Delivery Lead at IKEA Australia and New Zealand. She has led the AU organisation to 82% ZED and secured 30% ZED on market entry in New Zealand.

Her experience includes the scope and implementation of last-mile and customer charging projects, electric van and truck fleet strategy and transition, supplier management, and electric truck deployment.

Prior to this, she worked at the Electric Vehicle Council advising government, the EV sector, and the broader sustainability sector on electric vehicle policy, with a focus on commercial fleets and heavy vehicles.

Nanae Kii is a global professional with experience across Australia, Japan, and Canada, and has worked in logistics and environmental management roles with Toll Group for over 6 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Mary’s University, where she completed a thesis on recycling rare earth elements using environmentally friendly materials, which was patented in 2017. Nanae has contributed to sustainability initiatives through her work with QUEST, conducting energy market research and supporting stakeholder engagement.

Brendan King is an experienced leader in New Zealand’s transport and trucking sector, General Manager of TR Group—the country’s most recognised heavy truck rental, leasing, and fleet management organisation, with a fleet of 10,000 heavy vehicles operating across New Zealand and Australia.

Brendan began his career in transport logistics and has spent the past 25 years with TR Group, playing a pivotal role in the company’s growth and its commitment to becoming the world’s best in truck and trailer hire and fleet management. Under his leadership, TR Group remains at the forefront of innovation, particularly in advancing cleaner, more efficient transport solutions that support a more sustainable future for the heavy transport industry.

He and his team are leading the commercial rollout of New Zealand’s first heavy hydrogen trucks, further expanding the company’s low-emission offering with hydrogen-powered 50-tonne prime movers, Hyundai Xcient FCEV rigid chassis trucks, and several CH2NGE dual-fuel truck options.

Joel is the CEO and Co-founder of Allotrac, an award-winning Australian technology company he established in Wollongong in 2013. At the forefront of transport and logistics innovation, Joel has shaped Allotrac’s reputation for practical, user-driven design and a scalable SaaS platform built for modern operations. Under his leadership, the company has become a leader in cloud-based Transport Management Solutions across Australia and New Zealand, helping fleets automate workflows and gain real-time visibility. Combining decades of industry expertise with cutting-edge AI, Joel spearheaded the development of Allie, Allotrac’s virtual AI assistant, a “game-changer” designed to simplify the complex realities of transport operations.

Mark Lampard is Managing Director of go EV, an Australian company focused on accelerating the transition to electric transport. With a background in technology distribution, Mark brings a commercially grounded and customer-first approach to delivering practical EV charging solutions for private and public applications alike. He is known for building strong partnerships and turning complex ideas into scalable outcomes. Mark oversees strategy, growth, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring go EV delivers reliable, future-ready solutions. He is passionate about sustainability, innovation, and creating measurable impact through smart electrification across Australia’s rapidly evolving clean energy landscape today and beyond.

Sunswap is the UK-based clean technology company transforming refrigerated transport. Michael launched the business in 2020 with two co-founders to challenge the diesel status quo in the cold chain, proving that zero-emission systems can outperform traditional technology on reliability, performance and cost. Since then, he has led Sunswap from early concept to full commercial deployment, securing major fleet partnerships, raising investment, and scaling manufacturing in the UK. He is now driving international expansion, working with partners to introduce high-performance, zero-emission refrigeration to markets including Australia.

Ben is a CEO, Company Director and leadership coach working at the intersection of industry, community and human performance.

Through his work with Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds, Ben is actively engaged with the road transport industry, spending time on the road with drivers and operators to better understand the real challenges they face, from fatigue and isolation to the pressures of modern logistics, while also advocating at a federal level for improved conditions and greater support for the people who keep Australia moving.

A former ATA CEO and current Officer in Royal Australian Navy (Reserve), Ben brings decades of experience in leadership, culture and resilience across corporate, government and frontline environments.

He is also co-founder of Remount, a nationally recognised program supporting veterans and first responders, and leads equine-based leadership programs at GUNBEN helping individuals and teams build trust, awareness and resilience in high-pressure environments.

At TruckShowX, Ben offers a unique perspective on the human side of trucking, exploring how leadership, connection and mental wellbeing directly influence safety, performance and outcomes across the industry.

Ryan joined Hiringa Energy in 2019 as Head of New Business, his responsibilities cover; business development, strategy, government affairs and communications. Over the last 5 years he’s been working closely with businesses across New Zealand & Australia who are looking to decarbonise their operations using green hydrogen, helping them to identify where hydrogen fits in their mix of decarbonisation options, ranging from trucks to textiles. Ryan’s career spans over 20 years of engineering consultancy principally in the energy and technology sector, including over a decade in various general management roles throughout Australasia.

Hamish is a Sustainability and Corporate Affairs professional with a passion for the energy transition, community partnerships, and effective communications. With experience across the energy, transport, mining, and construction sectors, he supports organisations in embedding ESG strategy and building stakeholder trust through purposeful engagement.

Drew, Director of Growth at Ofload, has 25+ years of global experience in logistics and supply chain across land, sea and air. He has experience in project management, strategy and relationship development with enterprise level businesses across Australasia.

David specialises in heavy vehicle compliance and leads national initiatives that strengthen safety, governance, and operational excellence. His career spans more than a decade in the waste and resource recovery sector, where he managed multiple waste facilities across Sydney. Prior to that, he worked as an Environmental Officer, which built the foundation for his strong regulatory, sustainability, and risk-management mindset.

Dean is the Co-Founder and CEO of VE Motion, leading the commercialisation of Australia’s first propulsion-powered trailer system. Dean established VE Group in 2009 alongside Stephen Bussenschutt to develop embedded and grid connected generation projects. The business now includes Arends Trailers, a manufacturer of lightweight aluminium livestock trailers, and VE Motion powered trailers. With more than 20 years’ experience across energy, infrastructure and mine road train haulage focussed on project and contract management, Dean is also currently overseeing the powered trailer development program, including technical partnerships, regulatory approvals, compliance and pilots. He has an honours degree in Engineering from the University of Sydney.

Fredrik is a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of New Energy Transport and a former Head of Innovation at global truck manufacturer Scania, where he led the development of advanced electric road freight solutions and headed the company’s start-up incubator, Scania Innovation Factory. With over a decade at Scania and earlier experience at Volvo Cars, his career spans research and development, strategy, business development, and commercialisation. Fredrik has also scaled multiple ventures in executive roles and, through his previous Australian consultancy, has advised the road freight industry, governments and leading global consulting firms on decarbonisation and automation in heavy transport.

Andrew Pendlebury is the Executive Manager – Engineering at Hendrickson, with over 10 years’ experience in heavy vehicle suspension engineering. He has worked across design, testing, product management, and engineering leadership roles. Andrew specialises in using simulation to develop and refine suspension and axle systems, improving performance, durability, and compliance. He works closely with fleets and vehicle OEMs to deliver practical solutions that maximise vehicle efficiency and real‑world performance.

Kempower designs and manufactures reliable and driver-friendly DC fast charging solutions for electric fleet vehicles. In Australia and New Zealand, Kempower has several hundred charging points across the Fleet and Public charging sectors. Dylan, in his role at Kempower leads the Fleet Charging Infrastructure segment in APAC. Dylan has 15+ years of experience in the energy sector, in commercial and technical roles and holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Queensland.

Dan Repacholi was elected to the House of Representatives for Hunter, New South Wales, in the 2022 Labor Government and was re-elected in 2025. He is the Special Envoy for Men’s Health, and is a five-time Olympian and Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist. At 15, he finished school and entered the trade as a fitter and turner. He has worked as a coal miner and more recently was the manager for a medium-sized machinery sales business that services the mining and agricultural sectors.

Romesh studied mechanical engineering at the University of Melbourne, upon completion of his degree he joined IVECO Trucks Australia as a graduate engineer in 2000. He worked in various areas of the business from product planning, sales and marketing to truck production and engineering. Romesh then joined DaimlerChrysler taking on the role of Product Engineer for Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles where he held several key engineering and management roles. In his next step he moved across to Isuzu Australia to take on the role of Product Development Manager where he was responsible for liaison works with Isuzu Motors Japan as well as local design, development and testing, giving him valuable insight into this high-volume segment. In 2016 Romesh re-joined Daimler Truck. He has held various roles within the business from Head of Product for Mitsubishi-FUSO through to being Head of Vehicle Homologation, Regulatory Affairs and Future Mobility for all three Daimler brands. In a recent move he has now taken on the role of Head of Regulatory Affairs and Emerging Mobility Sales which sees him continuing his journey within the industry focused specifically on future vehicle strategy for Daimler Truck. Future perspective is a key focus for Daimler Truck where efficiency, advanced technologies and the transition to zero emission vehicles is crucial in supporting Australia’s future freight task.

Gareth leads Zenobe’s business in Australia and New Zealand, building on the growth and success of Zenobe in the UK and Europe. He is a former Management Consultant and Strategy expert in the energy and water utility sectors and has had a focus on grid-edge technologies, both through his consulting engagements and through Zenobe’s work within the transport and energy sectors. Gareth is excited about making a positive change in the industries we work in and facilitating rapid transformation using proven technology, strong expertise, and Zenobe’s access to capital.

Dennis is a senior fleet and transport executive with 30 years’ of experience leading large-scale, asset-intensive operations across Australia. He is a trade-qualified heavy vehicle mechanic who progressed to executive leadership with full P&L accountability across multi-entity transport businesses. His roles at AJM Transport have included Fleet Maintenance Manager, and Group General Manager.

Julie Russell is a Director and 3^rd generation family member of a 100 year old Queensland based road transport operator, Russell Transport. Julie has worked both within her family business and large multi-national corporations working across roles in Human Resources, Risk and Compliance, Industrial Relations, Technology and Strategic Planning. She has an MBA, Bachelor of Business and Arts, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Julie has worked in numerous committees and boards to provide a medium sized family business perspective to road reform and policy proposals, training and workforce planning frameworks and industry awareness programs.

Luke Sadler is the Co-Founding Director of SGS Logistics, bringing over two decades of experience in the logistics industry. Hugo has 10+ years of experience in the renewable energy space in engineering, program management and senior business development roles. Currently he is the Business Development Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Zenobē leading the development of large-scale heavy-duty fleet electrification projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering and an MBA and has international work experience in Europe, Latin America, and Australia.

Dr Richa Vijayraj is a sustainability and climate strategy specialist and the founder of Impact HQ. She is an ISO certified emissions specialist and verifier and GRI certified sustainability professional. She works extensively with transport and logistics businesses across Victoria, helping them navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of climate and sustainability compliance, emissions measurement, and ESG reporting. Her work focuses on translating complex regulatory requirements into practical business strategies—supporting companies to measure and manage their emissions, strengthen sustainability strategies to meet stakeholder expectations, and prepare for emerging climate disclosure frameworks. Richa works closely with many transport industry leaders to ensure sustainability is not just about compliance, but a strategic lever for operational efficiency, risk management, and long-term competitiveness in the transport sector.

Harini is an Associate Director in the Investment team at the Clean Energy Finance Corporation. She is a specialist finance professional with experience across a broad range of renewable energy and low emissions technologies. Harini is driven by a strong purpose to use financing as a tool to drive positive environmental and social impacts. She has worked across listed and unlisted equity investments, funds, corporate and project finance, deal structuring, strategy and execution.

Gareth Wishart has responsibility spanning enterprise technology, transport management systems, hydrogen production, and hydrogen–diesel dual-fuel technology through the Group’s Change Fuel Technologies business in Australia and New Zealand.

Change Fuel Technologies focuses on delivering practical decarbonisation solutions for the heavy vehicle sector that can be deployed into existing diesel fleets. Gareth has more than 20 years’ experience across transport, technology, and innovation leadership roles, working closely with fleet operators, engineers, and commercial teams to integrate alternative fuels, vehicle technology, and data platforms without compromising reliability or commercial performance.
