Even just a few years ago, the idea of using digital assistants powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to manage daily business operations was the realm of science fiction. But Allotrac, a business born in New South Wales over a decade ago, turned fiction into reality with the launch of Allotrac.io in 2025, and its digital transport assistant, ‘Allie’.
To be showcased at TruckShowX 2026, Allotrac.io is a purpose-built logistics operating system for transport operators. It’s a cloud-based platform connecting jobs, drivers, compliance and billing in real-time to replace manual processes and streamline operations from order to invoice.
Matt Edgar, Product Marketing Manager at Allotrac, says the company’s new AI assistant, Allie, is redefining how transport businesses operate day to day.
“Allie isn’t just another chatbot; it’s an operational co-pilot built directly into the Allotrac.io platform,” he explains. “It can automate tasks, allocate jobs, retrieve live insights and even create bookings or schedules using nothing more than a plain-English command.
“What makes Allie truly powerful,” Matt adds, “is its ability to think ahead. It can identify deliveries at risk of delay, recommend more efficient routes, or highlight where time and resources could be saved across your operation.
“It’s not just about saving clicks, it’s about giving operators real-time intelligence that helps them run smarter, safer and more efficiently than ever before.”
Adam Ritzinger, HVIA’s Chief Technical Officer and TruckShowX Technical Program Director, says these new innovations are a perfect illustration of why TruckShowX is so relevant and impactful, and that AI is a perfect fit for the 2026 theme ‘Driving the Future’.
“We created TruckShowX in 2024 to explore and unpack all of the exciting developments and new releases showcased at the Brisbane Truck Show,” he says.
“In recognition of the incredible opportunity that AI represents in trucking and transport, we’re devoting an entire session to exploring it at TruckShowX in 2026, and explaining to attendees how AI is set to deliver on the theme of ‘Driving the Future’”.
To be held May 18-19, 2026 at Rydges Hunter Valley in regional New South Wales, TruckShowX 2026 will offer attendees the opportunity to learn from the industry’s prime movers how businesses are transforming through innovation and technology, via real-world case studies focusing on transport productivity, efficiency, safety and decarbonisation.
Complementing this will be an expo showcasing technology, equipment and services across a range of new areas, the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the latest truck models from leading manufacturers in the unique ‘Drive Day’ program, and for the first time, a trailer display.
The program is available here and tickets can be purchased here.
