Leading integrated power solutions provider Cummins Asia Pacific will showcase its industry-first series of engine platforms at TruckShowX 2026, and present on the benefits of fully-integrated powertrains.

Cummins made history at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show with the first-ever Australian display of its fully integrated heavy-duty powertrain, showcasing the next evolution in performance, efficiency and total vehicle optimisation.

The initiative brings together an X15 engine, Eaton Cummins Endurant 18-speed automated transmission, and Meritor axles, brakes and drivelines. It represents a unified Cummins solution from engine to road – a major milestone in the company’s transformation into a complete, fuel diverse and digitally connected powertrain provider, and will be a highlight of the TruckShowX case study sessions on efficiency.

“The Cummins integrated powertrain initiative fits the TruckShowX 2026 theme perfectly – ‘Driving the Future’,” says Adam Ritzinger, HVIA Chief Technical Officer and TruckShowX Technical Program Manager.

“Many in the industry are looking to reduce downtime, improve fuel economy and lower the total cost of ownership, and optimising all the individual parts of a powertrain system such as Cummins have done delivers exactly that.”

Sean McLean, Director and General Manager of On-Highway Business for Cummins Asia Pacific, is excited to announce the inclusion of Cummins in the TruckShowX 2026 exhibition and conference technical program.

He says the integrated powertrain is a result of Cummins’ strategic 2022 acquisition of Meritor, which complements the established Eaton Cummins joint venture and gives Cummins complete control over all major driveline elements.

Cummins will also showcase its HELM engine platform as part of TruckShowX’s technology expo. HELM stands for ‘Higher Efficiency, Lower Emissions, Multiple Fuels’, and the X15 HELM series lineup will include a natural gas, advanced diesel and hydrogen combustion engine variants.

“Simply, the HELM platform enables Cummins to meet the needs of our customers, without compromise,” he says.

“It is a flexible, fuel-agnostic internal combustion engine that will transform the path to decarbonisation for on-highway fleets.”

A spin-off of the hugely successful Brisbane Truck Show and now in its second iteration, TruckShowX 2026 will build on previous success and showcase the technology, people and projects that are driving the future of trucking in Australia.

To be held May 18-19, 2026 at Rydges Hunter Valley in regional New South Wales, it will offer attendees the opportunity to learn from the industry’s prime movers how businesses are transforming through innovation and technology, via real-world case studies focusing on transport productivity, efficiency and safety.

Complementing this will be an expo showcasing technology, equipment and services across a range of new areas, and uniquely, the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the latest truck models from leading manufacturers, and for the first time, a trailer display.
