HVIA is excited to announce Daimler Truck as an exhibitor in what promises to be a stunning line-up for TruckShowX’s drive-day program in 2026.
The leading truck OEM will offer its latest Mercedes-Benz eActros for test drives at the 2026 event, alongside other new models in its impressive line-up including the Fuso eCanter. It will also discuss how the company is helping customers start their sustainability journeys with practical zero-emission trucks via the conference’s technical sessions.
Daimler Truck Australia Pacific President and CEO, Daniel Whitehead, says the company is excited to attend the TruckShowX event.
“Sustainability enabled by innovation is at the centre of everything we do at Daimler Truck, so it is only natural that we support an initiative like TruckShowX,” he says.
“This event is a fantastic way for the transport operators to see how industry leaders are driving decarbonisation in a very practical way using groundbreaking vehicles like the Fuso eCanter, Mercedes-Benz eActros and eEconic.”

HVIA Chief Technical Officer and TruckShowX Technical Program Manager, Adam Ritzinger, welcomes Daimler to TruckShowX 2026, which features ‘Driving the Future’ as its theme.
“The buzz that TruckShowX 2024 generated throughout the trucking industry was truly extraordinary,” he says.
“The 2026 event is shaping up to eclipse that, and the conversations that we will have are more relevant than ever, as the industry responds to increasing pressures to do more, and do it with greater safety, fewer emissions and at a lower cost.”
To be held May 18-19, 2026 at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley in regional New South Wales, TruckShowX 2026 will offer attendees the opportunity to learn from the industry’s prime movers how businesses are transforming through innovation and technology, via real-world case studies focusing on transport productivity, efficiency and safety.
Complementing the program will be an expo showcasing technology, equipment and services across a range of new areas, and uniquely, a drive-day opportunity to get behind the wheel of the latest truck models from leading manufacturers – and for the first time, a trailer display.
The program is available here and tickets can be purchased here.
