Hino Australia is confirmed as a TruckShowX 2026 drive-day exhibitor and conference presenter.

The truck OEM offers a complete range of light-, medium- and heavy-duty transport solutions, including the Hino 300 Series Hybrid Electric light-duty truck that has been readily adopted by local fleets in diverse applications.

Hino is supporting TruckShowX 2026 as both an exhibitor and speaker, with a senior representative set to address the event on real-world implementation projects of hybrid trucks in Australia, in addition to highlighting customer outcomes and results they have seen with their day-to-day operations.

“Hybrid electric trucks feature an electric motor, a battery and a diesel engine working in parallel, and are able to intelligently apply both to meet the needs of the transport task,” he says.

“Some sectors of the industry are concerned about the availability of charging infrastructure, and available driving range for pure electric trucks. Whilst those concerns will undoubtedly change in the future, hybrid electric vehicles are available right now, offering viable and practical solutions.”

Scheduled for May 18-19, 2026 at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley in regional New South Wales, TruckShowX 2026 will offer attendees the opportunity to learn from the industry’s prime movers how businesses are transforming through innovation and technology, via real-world case studies focusing on transport productivity, efficiency and safety.
