The opening session of TruckShowX 2026 is set to be a cracker, with three powerful presenters – including Julie Russell, a director and third-generation family member of 100-year-old trucking operator, Russell Transport – offering their unique and distinct views on the current and future challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
Julie (pictured above left with brothers Ken and Michael and father Phil) will be joined on stage by two influential freight and next-generation energy policy makers, Scott Greenow, Executive Director of Transport for New South Wales, and Gary Foster, Manager of Hydrogen Programs at the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
They will join the 50-plus industry experts and leaders locked in for the two-day conference and expo which, with two weeks still to go, has already eclipsed ticket sales for the inaugural event in 2024, ensuring that the 2026 edition of this standout industry conference and expo will offer more to attendees than ever. Check out the full program here.
Adam Ritzinger, HVIA’s Chief Technical Officer and TruckShowX Technical Program Director, attributes the strong support to the importance of the conference’s ‘Driving The Future’ theme for the industry.
“It is obvious that this event is happening in the right place, at the right time,” he says.
“Decarbonisation, energy efficiency, fuel security, productivity, and the intersection of technology and innovation have never been more important for our sector, given current global pressures.
“The TruckShowX program is full of real-world case studies outlining how the market leaders are changing the game. Between the two-day technical program, networking events, drive day opportunities, expansive manufacturers expo, and full-size trailer display, it is set to be an unmissable event, with so much value on offer.”
Tickets have been flying out the door over the past fortnight, as delegates from all over Australia and across the world, including fleets, vehicle and equipment suppliers, trailer manufacturers and other interested stakeholders, secure their day passes and networking event entries.
